Steve Woods and StockShare Publishing Team presents “Float Charts™— An Introduction" to AAII-Boston Chapter, Computerized Investing Group! Monday, June 27, 2005, 7:00 PM - Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA.

Mr. Woods is author of the book Float Analysis (Wiley Trading, 2002). His articles have appeared in The Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine, Traders World, Active Trader and The Technical Analyst magazine. He is the author of the FloatCharts.com Stock Alert Newsletter. He was a regular radio guest on the Tiger Financial News Network from 2000 to 2005 and had his own weekly radio show during 2004 to 2005. He is also a Market Technicians Association Affiliate.

Steve presented the discoveries he has made concerning the floating supply of shares. These are the shares actually available for trading. He demonstrated the use of a new type of stock chart that he created which is known as a Float Chart. Float Charts are the only stock chart that use all four pieces of available stock data: float, price, volume, and time. Float Charts help track when the smart money is buying and selling. Float Charts show when a stock is under accumulation at bottoms and when it is under distribution at tops. Float Charts™ show support and resistance points not seen on other charts.

The presentation also introduced the team that developed the software Steve Woods uses each trading day and on their new web-site called FloatCharts.com. Steve has teamed up with Michael Beauchesne and Michael Hebert of StockSharePublishing.com. The partners also demonstrated the unique features of their new software: StockShareV2.
